Pet Insurances Available Internationally , In the US and Canada.

What’s nice to know is that most pet insurances will cover pre-existing conditions if your pet has been stable for 3-12 months. However, if it is a breed specific illness, your pet may not get coverage. So your best bet is to start your policy from the puppy days or as soon as you get your dog,(s)If your dog has a medical emergency and has a surgery, it is then too late to get coverage to cover any problems arising from that particular surgery or injury. But your dog can get covered for anything else, except  veterinary care for that injury.

Speaking as a Tibbie who is costing Beloved a great deal of money due to health problems, I endorse the idea of pet insurance where you can afford it and where you can shop around for a good policy.
Beloved did look at insurance when I was a pup, but we were classed ‘exotic’ dogs (as indeed I am), and therefore the premiums seemed expensive. And because I had problems as a puppy with joints and with allergies my difficulties were already pre-existing and we didn’t find a policy which would take us.
I like the fact that they will now take you on if you are stable.
Thanks for the information and the reminder.

Pet Insurance is a wondeful thing! Accidents do happen and unless you have hundreds to thousands of dollars in pocket, you’re going to have a hard time dealing with emergency costs. We recommend everyone look into Pet Insurance for their furry friends.
